(the “Site”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Site,
our newsletters and community resources, donation/sponsorship activity, and any purchases
you make through our online shop (including WildHer Finds) or linked checkout providers.

By using the Site, subscribing to our emails, donating, sponsoring, or purchasing from our store,
you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Eligibility and Account Responsibility

  • This Site is intended for users aged 18 or older.
  • You agree to provide accurate information when subscribing, donating, or purchasing.
  • If you create or use a password, you are responsible for keeping it confidential.

2. Acceptable Use

  • You may not use the Site in a way that violates any law, infringes rights, or harms others.
  • You may not attempt to disrupt the Site (malware, scraping, brute force, etc.).
  • We may restrict or terminate access if we believe misuse is occurring.

3. Content and Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise noted, all content on the Site (text, photos, graphics, logos, downloads, and videos)
is owned by Solo Sojourn Project and/or Jolene MacFadden and is protected by
copyright and other laws.

  • You may share links to our content and quote brief excerpts with credit and a link back.
  • You may not reproduce, sell, or redistribute our content or downloads without written permission.

4. Newsletter, Emails, and Subscriber Resources

  • If you subscribe, we will use your email address to send newsletters and project updates.
    You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
  • Subscriber gifts and private resource pages may change over time. We may update, replace, or remove
    materials to keep them current.
  • We do our best to deliver emails reliably, but delivery can be affected by email providers, spam filters,
    or typos in the address you enter.

5. User Submissions (Reviews, Tips, Stories, Photos)

If you submit content (such as campground reviews, tips, or stories), you confirm you have the right to share it.
You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, edit for clarity/length, and publish it
on our Site, social channels, newsletters, and related project materials.

  • We will not claim ownership of your original work.
  • We may decline to publish or remove submissions that are unsafe, defamatory, or misleading.

6. Donations and Contributions

Supporters may contribute through one-time or recurring donations using third-party processors (such as PayPal)
or other providers disclosed at checkout.

  • Donations are voluntary. Unless required by law or explicitly stated, donations are non-refundable.
  • We do not store or process your payment card details directly; payment providers handle that information.
  • Donations help support project expenses (for example: equipment, fuel, campground fees, app development,
    outreach, and content production). Exact allocation may vary by project needs.

7. Sponsorships and Brand Partnerships

  • Sponsorships may include financial support, in-kind donations, or cross-promotions.
  • Sponsored content will be disclosed in accordance with applicable FTC guidelines.
  • We may decline or end partnerships that no longer align with our mission of safety, empowerment,
    environmental responsibility, and integrity.

8. Online Store Purchases (WildHer Finds)

If you purchase products through our store, you agree to the additional purchase terms below. Some items may be
fulfilled by third-party print-on-demand or shipping partners (“Fulfillment Partners”). Product availability,
manufacturing times, and shipping timelines may vary.

8.1 Product Information

  • We strive for accurate product descriptions and images, but colors may vary by screen/device.
  • We may update product details, pricing, or availability at any time.

8.2 Payments

  • Payments are processed via third-party payment providers shown at checkout.
  • We do not store full payment card details on our servers.

8.3 Shipping and Delivery

  • Estimated delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees.
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, weather, or incorrect addresses provided by the customer.

8.4 Returns, Refunds, and Replacements

Because many store items are made-to-order (print-on-demand), returns for “change of mind” may be limited.
However, if your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, we will work with you to resolve it.

  • Report issues within 14 days of delivery by contacting us (see Section 12).
    Include your order number and clear photos of the issue.
  • Approved resolutions may include replacement, refund, or store credit depending on the situation and partner policies.
  • Items damaged due to normal wear, misuse, or washing instructions not followed may not be eligible.

8.5 Chargebacks

If you have a problem with an order, please contact us first so we can help. Unnecessary chargebacks may delay
resolution and may result in account restrictions.

9. Safety Disclaimer (Travel, Camping, Workamping)

Information on this Site, in newsletters, downloads, and apps is provided for general informational purposes.
Outdoor travel involves risk. You are responsible for your own decisions, safety planning, and compliance with
park rules, local laws, and workplace requirements.

  • We do not guarantee safety outcomes at any campground, location, route, or volunteer placement.
  • Always verify current conditions, closures, fees, and regulations with official sources before you travel.

10. Third-Party Links and Services

The Site may link to third-party websites, tools, or platforms (including payment processors, Kickstarter,
social platforms, or fulfillment partners). We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or actions.
Your use of third-party services is subject to their terms and privacy policies.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Solo Sojourn Project will not be liable for any indirect, incidental,
consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the Site, reliance on content, participation in
the community, donations/sponsorships, or purchases.

Use of the Site and its content is at your own risk.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
Your continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
