Our Mission

Our Purpose

Solo Sojourn is a grassroots travel empowerment project designed to inspire and guide women — especially solo travelers — to safely explore Florida’s public lands. Through storytelling, technology, and shared experiences, we’re building a connected, informed, and confident community of RVers, campers, and volunteers.

What We’re Creating

App: The Solo Sojourn App A user-friendly tool that ranks Florida’s public campgrounds by safety, accessibility, and solo-woman friendliness.

Travel Series: The Sojourn Trail Series Real stories. Real sites. Real women. Videos and blogs documenting campground visits, ranger interviews, and workamping life.

Community: Supportive Connections Join a growing network of women who share reviews, tips, and encouragement for short- and long-term camping adventures.

Why It Matters

“We believe every woman should know she can do this — and that she won’t have to do it alone.” – Jolene MacFadden, Founder

Workamping at Adams Track River Camp
