Solo Sojourn Project Is Live — Let the Journey Begin!

We’re thrilled to announce the official launch of the Solo Sojourn Project — our brand-new website and social media presence dedicated to empowering solo women to explore, volunteer, and connect through safe, accessible RV and camping adventures.

Whether you’re a seasoned RVer, first-time workamper, or just dreaming of the open road, Solo Sojourn is here to help you confidently plan your next adventure. Our mission is rooted in supporting solo female travelers, mobility-challenged campers, and anyone looking to explore Florida’s public lands with purpose and peace of mind.

Over the next 12 months, we’ll be:

  • Visiting dozens of Florida’s state parks, forests, and wildlife areas
  • Interviewing rangers and fellow travelers
  • Reviewing campground accessibility and solo safety features
  • Documenting workamping opportunities around the state
  • Building a mobile app that will become your go-to guide for safe solo adventures

We’ve also launched a Kickstarter campaign to help fund this journey — covering fuel, gear, campsite fees, app development, and more. With your support, we’ll shine a light on the joys and challenges of solo RV life and help others discover their inner trailblazer.

This is just the beginning — and we’d love for you to be part of it.

Let’s make public lands more inclusive, safer, and more fun — one solo sojourn at a time.
